Chargers Earn OCCAC All-Sports Award
June 28, 2022Edison State Community College Athletics is the 2021-22 OCCAC All-Sports Award recipient. This marks the Chargers’ second such accolade in the last three seasons after not competing due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-21. -

Deval Harrell (Bryant & Stratton) and Kailah Johnson (Edison State) rose above the rest to snag OCCAC Player of the Year laurels.

Edison State, Hocking Retain Player of the Week Status
January 24, 2022For the second consecutive week Edison State Women’s Basketball and Hocking Men’s Basketball are represented in the OCCAC Player of the Week awards. Whitney Staggs and Trevell Adams both helped improve their respective program’s season record to 17-0 overall and 4-0 in league play—resulting in another individual weekly honor. It marks Staggs second of 2021-22 and fourth of her career while Adams, a freshman, now owns three such accolades this season.

November 29, 2021Sophomore Whitney Staggs earned her third career OCCAC Player of the Week award on Tuesday, her first while representing Edison State. She twice garnered the league’s weekly honor while competing for Columbus State during the 2018-19 season as a freshman.

Athie, a freshman, snares his first weekly honor while Siefring hauls in the eighth of her career.
