OCCAC Basketball Awards for ’21-22

In a basketball season that saw multiple teams ranked among the nation’s best on both the men’s and women’s sides, competition to earn 2021-22 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference season accolades was stiff. Deval Harrell (Bryant & Stratton) and Kailah Johnson (Edison State) rose above the rest to snag OCCAC Player of the Year laurels.

Three honorees picked up Coach of the Year recognition with Tim McMahon guiding Edison State women’s basketball to an undefeated regular season while Ryan Miley (Hocking) and Kyle Vanover (Edison State) share the men’s basketball honor.
