The Latest OCCAC Players of the Week

Trevell Adams (Hocking College) and Kailah Johnson (Edison State) are the conference’s player of the week honorees for Nov. 28-Dec. 5. Adams lifted the Hawks to three victories over the past seven days and a 10-0 season mark while Johnson dominated in the Chargers lone contest last week.

Adams filled it up with 87 points for the week, good for an average of 29.0 per game. He dropped in 33-of-63 (52%) field goal attempts and converted at an 82% (18-22) rate on foul shots. Adams tacked on 11 rebounds, seven steals, seven assists and three blocks to his already impressive weekly stat line. He earns his second weekly award of the season.

Adams leads the league with a 26.3 points/game average.

KAILAH JOHNSON
Edison State Community College
Johnson connected on 9-of-15 (60%) shots from floor and 6-of-7 (86%) at the charity stripe to net 24 points in an 88-64 Edison State triumph. She also hauled in eight boards, three on the offensive glass, four steals and three assists in 30 minutes of action.

Johnson is the third different Charger to earn the accolade this season, joining teammates Allison Siefring and Whitney Staggs.
