Dayton, OH---Cincinnati State's Cameron Vaughn, who finished with 23 points and 18 rebounds, led six double figure scorers as Cincinnati State defeated Sinclair Community College on the road 86-66 in conference play on Wednesday.
For Vaughn, it was the sophomore's 16th double-double of the season. 6'4 center Samantha Paratore added 15 points and 5 rebounds. Desiree Ash finished with 14. Brandi Henschen, a Mt. Healthy graduate, finished with 11. Kindsay Brandt and Alexus Chinn finished with 10 points each as Cincinnati State improved to 5-1 in the OCCAC.
Sinclair, which is now 5-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference, was led by Ashton Payne's 16 points and 10 rebounds.
As a team, Cincinnati State out rebounded Sinclair 51-38, leading to a 18-7 advantage in second chance points.
Improving to 19-4 overall, Cincinnati State will return home on Saturday to face Vincennes University at 1:00 pm.
