Harris, May Win OCCAC POTW Honors In Men's Basketball

Reshardd Harris and Cody May have been named the OCCAC Player of the Week recipients in men's basketball for the past two weeks.

Harris, a sophomore forward, won the honor for his outstanding play the week of Nov. 16-22. It marked the second straight week he won the award.

Harris captured the award by averaging 23.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in wins over Hocking College and Henry Ford College. In his team's 115-79 decision over Hocking, he had 21 points, eight rebounds and one assist. He followed that up with 26 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in a 96-74 win over Henry Ford.

The play of Harris has helped Sinclair start the season 7-0. They have scored at least 100 points in four of those games and reached 96 and 97 in two others. They will be back in action at home tomorrow against Hocking College.

May, meanwhile, was also outstanding as he had 21 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal in his team's 100-79 win over Hocking College on Nov. 28.

The sophomore forward from Edison Community College is averaging 17.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He is averaging 21.3 points and 12.3 rebounds per game over the past three contests.

May and his Edison team are 5-2 heading into tomorrow's game against University of Cincinnati - Clermont.
