Reineke Named OCCAC Player of the Week

Springfield, Ohio---Meg Reineke (New Knoxville/New Knoxville, Ohio), a sophomore outside hitter for the Sinclair Community College volleyball team, has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week for matches between Oct. 24-30.

This is Reineke's second selection of the season. She also won on Sept. 11, and she earned the honor on Nov. 1 last year.

Last week, Reineke helped lead her team to a 2-0 record, including wins over Cuyahoga Community College and Lakeland Community College. 

In the team's win over Cuyahoga in five sets, Reineke had 23 kills and 15 digs. She also produced 27 kills and 18 digs in a four set win over Lakeland.

This year, Reineke has 487 kills and 438 digs. In her two-year career, she has 1,035 kills and 1,017 digs.

This is the final OCCAC player of the week award of the regular season.
