Newport, MI---Emily Morrow, a RHP/OF from Monroe Jefferson High School, has signed a letter of intent to become the newest member of the 2013-14 Express softball freshmen class.

The 5'7" Newport, MI native earned Honorable Mention All-Huron League honors as a junior, and was also honored as the team's Most Improved Player during the same season.

She was coached at Jefferson by Dominic Iacoangeli, the father of departing Express softball sophomore outfielder Melanie Iacoangeli. 

Academically, Morrow was a Huron League All-Academic team selection during her time at Monroe Jefferson.

Morrow joins Josephine Hall (C/OF, New London High School), Tori Weidinger (C/OF, Whitmer High School), Aubrey Geis (C, Toledo Christian High School), Brittany George (3B/SS, Elmwood High School), Kendall Murphy (3B/C, Maumee High School), Lesley Ducat (RHP, Evergreen High School), Alexandra Veres (C, Cardinal Stritch High School) and Chelsea Evans (RHP, Grass Lake High School) as members of next year's freshmen class.

The Express softball program finished 24-17 last season. They advanced to the Region XII District G tournament championship before falling to Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
