Thiaw Named OCCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Cincinnati, Ohio---Mohamed Thiaw, a freshman forward for Cincinnati State, has been named the OCCAC Offensive Player of the Week.

The 6'0" freshman forward led Cincinnati State to conference wins over Lakeland and Cuyahoga last weekend. With the help of Thiaw's four goals, the team outscored its opponents 13-1.

Thiaw recorded his first collegiate hat trick in Saturday's 7-0 win over Lakeland. He then scored one goal in the team's 6-1 win over Cuyahoga.

Thiaw currently leads the team in goals (7) and points (16). He has helped the team to an 8-2 overall record with a perfect 4-0 mark in the OCCAC.
