Kellogg got off to a great start scoring two in the first inning off starter Craig Koehler.  Koehler started the game off with an error of his own and gave up hits during the inning.

The Bruins added another run in the top of the fourth when Pride first baseman Tyler Raymond dropped a pop fly with two outs to extend their lead to 3-0. Sinclair threatened to score in the fourth inning with bases loaded but sophomore Nick McGill flew out to center to end the frame.

The Bruins offense was productive once again in the top of the sixth scoring their fourth run of the ballgame on a sacrifice fly to center with nobody out.

The Tartan offense had one more big chance with bases loaded and one out, but the Bruin pitcher got Paul Wilson to ground out into a 1-2-3 double play. Bruins starter Chad Mayle was in complete control throughout his six innings of work only giving up three hits and not allowing a run.
