OCCAC Player of the Week Nomination Criteria

WHAT TO SEND AND WHERE

The OCCAC chooses and votes on player of the week selections as follows: the voting committee consisting of the OCCAC assistant commissioner, the sport chair for each respective sport and the OCCAC sports information director chooses and discusses the best candidate from each school. If a school would like a certain student-athlete considered, or not considered, contact the the sports information director no later than noon ET on Monday of each week.

NOTES

The winner of the OCCAC player of the week will be submitted to the NJCAA for national honors. Per NJCAA rules, the OCCAC sports information director (Kyle Kuhlman) submits the "Player of the Week" winners each week and only nominations from that source will be considered by the NJCAA. With that said, a player must win OCCAC player of the week honors in order to be considered for national player of the week honors.

Winners will be posted on the OCCAC website, along with our Instagram (@occacsports), Facebook (www.facebook.com/OCCACSports) and Twitter (@OCCACSports) pages.
