Mikayla Brown and Triceratops Volleyball were victorious in both outings last week, leading to OCCAC Player of the Week honors for the sophomore. Brown is the first Cuyahoga representative to earn the conference’s weekly volleyball honor since Annayia Ruffin did so twice in 2019.
A 14-kill, 10-dig double-double in the league win over Lorain County highlighted the week. Brown terminated the 14 kills at a .344 clip with just three errors on 32 swings.
For the week (Cuyahoga also earned a sweep over Wilberforce University), she accumulated 21 total digs, 19 kills and two solo blocks with a .333 hitting efficiency (19-5-42).
