Sophomore Lindsey Koenig pushed Owens to three league victories last week (Sept. 2-8), snagging the fourth OCCAC Player of the Week honor of her career after doing so three times as a freshman. She contributed 4.5 points and 2.3 digs per set.
Koenig totaled 38 kills, 23 digs, four aces and four blocks while attacking .304 (38-7-102) over the course of 10 sets. The Express garnered wins over Lorain County, Hocking and Edison State to leap atop the OCCAC standings at 3-0 (11-4 overall).
