Max Effort from Max York Leads to League Award

Owens Men’s Soccer (3-0-1) remains unbeaten four matches in to the 2024 season after last week included an OCCAC win over Terra State and 1-1 draw versus D-II foe Grand Rapids. Max York roamed the middle of the field and earned OCCAC Player of the Week honors for Sept. 2-8.

York played all 90 minutes in both matches, serving as a defensive stalwart and starting numerous offensive attacks by winning challenges near the center circle.
