Taylor Lessing steered Edison State Volleyball to a 4-0 week, dishing out 150 assists and averaging nearly three digs per set. The sophomore setter added eight kills, six aces and three blocks to her 10 assists/set performance as the Chargers handed four non-conference foes an “L.”
Lessing spread around no less than nine assists/set in each of the four victories. She was also efficient on the setter attacks, terminating eight of 25 error-free attempts for a .320 efficiency.
Edison State has now brought home half of the league’s weekly awards six weeks into the season. Lessing joins Graceanne Slade (Aug. 21) and Brooklyn Bourne (Sept. 4) as Charger honorees in 2023.
