Emma Luedeke, a sophomore setter for Edison State Volleyball, totaled 171 assists during a 5-0 week for the Chargers and surpassed 1,000 assists for her career along the way. Her effort this past week also included 31 digs, five kills, three aces and two block assists — leading to OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week recognition.
Luedeke’s top statistical performance came against Hagerstown, not only hitting the 1,000 career assist mark, but also posted a double-double with her 43 assists and 10 digs during the four-set victory. She registered at least 27 assists in all five triumphs and dug five or more balls in four of five contests.
This marks her second such honor, also being named the conference’s player of the week on Oct. 21, 2024 as a freshman.
