Graceanne Slade, a sophomore middle for Edison State, lifted the Chargers to a pair of conference wins during the 2023 campaign’s opening week. She averaged four points and nearly two digs per set in victories over Clark State and Lorain County.
Slade got it started with a double-double (14 kills, 10 digs) versus the Eagles before coming back with 16 kills at a .417 attacking clip (16-1-36) on the road against Lorain County. She added in four aces and two solo blocks to her weekly stat line.
