Greene, Winnen Stay in the Flames

Devonte Greene (Cuyahoga) and Ally Winnen (Lorain County) are both back as the OCCAC Players of the Week (Feb. 3-9), and have now combined for seven such awards during the 2024-25 season.

Greene defended his crown and has brought it home three of the last five weeks. Over the past seven days, the sophomore wing racked up 56 points and 34 rebounds across three games for the Triceratops. He shot 65% (30-of-46) from the floor to average 18.7 points per game. Additional per game averages included 11.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals.

February marks the fourth consecutive month in which Winnen has earned the OCCAC’s weekly honor. She was dominant in both games, posting no less than 32 points, 23 rebounds and 13 made field goals in each contest. It began with 33 points and 29 boards (18 offensive) in a road game, and came back with 32 points and 23 boards in the Commodores’ second outing of the week. Winnen converted on 27-of-50 (54%) field goal attempts while dishing out three assists in each game.
