La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga) and Darian Leslie (Edison State) were both unanimous selections for the latest OCCAC Player of Week awards announced on Dec. 8. Moore has snared the honor in back-to-back weeks and three times this season while Leslie is also a multi-time winner now.

Moore stuffed 46 points, 30 rebounds, 10 steals and nine assists into 75 minutes across two non-conference games. She opened the week with a ’20-20’ double-double, recording 22 points and 20 rebounds to go along with seven steals and five assists in a win over Oakland. Moore doubled up again at St. Clair County, coming back with 24 points and 10 rebounds (+four assists and three rebounds). She was very efficient, shooting 55% (17-31) from the floor.

Leslie guided the Chargers to more than 90 points in both league victories on the road, averaging 21.0 points individually and dishing out 11 total assists (finished with an 11:3 assist-to-turnover ratio). He also brought down 15 rebounds during his 77 minutes of action. The sophomore guard was able to get to the line consistently, converting 12-of-15 foul shots.
