Stat Sheet Stuffers Unwrap Weekly Awards

Jesse Dixon (Edison State) and Brooklyn Green (Owens) delivered the gift of victory last week, both leading their teams to non-conference wins en route to earning OCCAC Player of the Week honors.

Dixon shined from long distance, knocking home seven 3-pointers in a tightly-contested 91-89 triumph over Miami University Middletown. He scored 28 points in total to go along with six rebounds, four assists and three steals as the Chargers picked up their eighth dub of the season.

Green converted 8-of-15 field goal attempts, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, in registering 22 points. She added four rebounds, three steals and an assist as the Express moved to 11-4 overall by topping Southwestern Michigan.
