Winning Ways Lead to Individual Honors

Manny Hill (Cuyahoga) and Camille Fultz (Clark State) were both unanimous decisions for OCCAC Player of the Week recognition (Dec. 4-10), each earning their second career such honor. The sophomores lifted their respective teams to a pair of wins.

Hill and the Triceratops took an early edge in the conference standings, moving to 3-0 in league play after recording wins over Lorain County and Owens last week. Hill opened the week with a 24-point, 12-assist, 10-rebound triple-double at Lorain County before coming up a lone point and rebound shy of consecutive triple-doubles with 11 assists, nine points and nine rebounds at Owens. He averaged 16.5 points, 11.5 assists, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game for the week.

Fultz and the Eagles ventured out of conference to snag two victories. Fultz was dominant in both triumphs, accumulating 52 points and 32 rebounds (14 offensive) in total. She converted at a 64% success rate by hitting 21-of-33 field goal attempts. Fultz tacked on 10 more points at the charity stripe.
