Latham and Moore Rise Above the Rest in Week 6

Frank Latham (Edison State) and La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga) concluded November with big-time performances worthy of OCCAC Player of the Week recognition for Nov. 24-30. Latham collects his first such honor while Moore brings home her second award in the last four weeks.

Latham converted 13-of-18 field goal attempts en route to 28 points during an 86-66 Charger win over Marian University Ancilla. He added nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and an assist. His uber efficient effort stuffed all those numbers into the stat sheet in just 25 minutes played.

Moore was dominant in all three outings for the Triceratops. She averaged 27.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 2.3 assists per game while Cuyahoga won two of three games. Moore began the week with an explosion, outscoring the entire Community Christian squad with her 40 points in a 108-38 triumph, knocking down 19-of-22 shot from the floor. She recorded a double-double in all three games, registering no less than 19 points and 11 rebounds in each.
