Lindsey Koenig was a unanimous decision once again as the OCCAC Player of the Week for Oct. 16-22, the final regular season week for most of the conference. She now owns three of the 10 weekly accolades issued in 2023.
Koenig’s latest award-garnering performance included 14 kills against both Edison State and Lorain County. She added three digs and three blocks in the OCCAC title-clinching win over the Chargers and five aces against the Commodores. She was dominant in her attack, bouncing the 28 kills on 53 attempts with only three errors for a .472 hitting efficiency.
Koenig and The Express embark on postseason play Tuesday (Oct. 24) in the NJCAA Region XII Championships.
