Clark Keeps OCCAC Weekly Honor in Piqua

Edison State Volleyball is represented in the OCCAC Player of the Week award for the second straight Monday after Sarah Clark earned the accolade for Oct. 10-16. Charger teammate Brianna Slusher won the previous week.

And speaking of winning, Edison State was all about it this past week. The Chargers went 4-0 with three league victories and taking 12 of 14 sets overall. Clark led the way with 3.4 kills and 2.8 digs per set. She attacked .336 (47-8-116) for the week and posted 12 or more kills in three contests. The freshman outside hitter added a half dozen blocks, two aces and two assists to her weekly stat line. In a 5-set triumph at Cuyahoga, Clark shined with 16 kills at a .333 hitting clip to go along with 10 digs 10 digs, four blocks and two aces.
