Bailey Poppe, a sophomore outside hitter for Edison State Volleyball, is the second straight Charger to earn OCCAC Player of the Week honors to begin the 2025 season. Edison State improved to 10-1 overall with a pair of victories in the past week.
Poppe was efficient and effective, attacking .372 with 22 kills in two non-conference sweeps over Marian Ancilla and UC Clermont. She added 17 digs and four blocks, two solo, to her award-worthy stat line.
Poppe was equally productive in both wins, recording double-digit kills, eight or more digs and two blocks in each contest. Her .381 and .364 attacking efficiencies, respectively, were also key to the Charger victories.
