Madyson Buckingham became the third consecutive Edison State Charger to be named OCCAC Player of the Week, earning recognition for the week of Sept. 8-14. The libero dug 64 balls, averaging 5.8 digs per set during a 3-match week for the Chargers.
Buckingham put up a half dozen digs per set versus Mott. She then came back with a total of 40 digs and six aces during a doubleheader against Lake Michigan and Glen Oaks, both team victories as Edison State improved to 12-2 overall. She added on two assists in the final contest for good measure.
