Cuyahoga Men’s Soccer ascended to the top of the conference standings with a pair of victories over Terra State and Owens. Sophomore midfielder Stefan Trmcic fueled the success with a total of four goals and an assist — earning OCCAC Player of the Week recognition.
Trmcic opened the week with an emphatic bang, tickling the twine three times in the first 32 minutes against Terra State. His quick hat trick propelled Cuyahoga to a 5-2 win.
He came back later in the week and was a part of both scores during his squad’s 2-1 road W at Owens. Trmcic came out on fire again, scoring the first goal at the 3-minute mark. Following an equalizer from the Express, Trmcic found his teammate off of a set piece to record the assist on the game-winning goal. His direct kick reached the far post where it was finished with a header into the back of the net.
