Byron Perez terrorized Terra State in a home-and-home series sweep for Lakeland Men’s Soccer, single-handedly matching the Titans three goals with three of his own. The freshman forward was a unanimous choice as the OCCAC Player of the Week after his 3-goal effort.
He opened the week by scoring the middle goal of a 3-0 triumph at Terra State. He then came back in the home contest and finished off the Laker come-from-behind win. Trailing 3-2 midway through the second half, Perez found the back of the net in both the 57th and 89th minute to secure a 4-3 winner.
