Five different institutions were represented on the All-OCCAC First Teams for both men’s and women’s basketball. Building on OCCAC co-championships for both Lakeland Basketball programs, sharing with Hocking Men’s Basketball and Cuyahoga Women’s Basketball, a pair of Lakers also snagged the conference’s Player of the Year honors – Jareon Mayo and Lauren Perry.
Lakeland’s Terrell Eskridge added OCCAC Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year laurels while the Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year distinction was split between Cuyahoga’s co-head coaches Jasmine Frierson and Dion Griffin, and Seth Martin of Hocking.
