Reigelsperger Signs With Express Volleyball Program, Joins Coldwater Teammate Hartings

Coldwater, Ohio---Macy Reigelsperger, a middle blocker from Coldwater High School, has joined her teammate Erika Hartings in becoming a member of the Express volleyball program's 2014 freshmen class.

This past season, Reigelsperger was named First Team All-Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC), First Team All-District 8 and First Team All-Ohio. She became the first volleyball player in Coldwater's history to achieve the First Team All-Ohio honor.

"We're really excited for Macy to be part of the Owens volleyball program," said Express volleyball head coach Sonny Lewis. "I was able to coach her in the High Performance program and saw that she was a hard worker, very talented and fun to be around. We feel that she is going to be an impact player for Owens."

In addition to those senior year honors, Reigelsperger participated in the District 8 All-Star game.

As a junior, Reigelsperger was First Team All-MAL, First Team All-District 8 and Second Team All-Ohio. As a sophomore, she was First Team All-MAL, Second Team All-District 8 and Third Team All-Ohio. As a freshman, she was Second Team All-MAL and Honorable Mention All-District 8.

Reigelsperger and Hartings, a right side hitter who also signed with the Express, will become the first two Coldwater graduates for play volleyball for the Express once the fall season starts. They join recent signees Deanna Smith, a setter from Riverview High School in Riverview, Mich., Ally Mikesell, a middle blocker from St. Henry High School in St. Henry, Ohio and Amara Hemenway, a middle blocker from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Ohio.
