The OCCAC has announced their 2013-14 postseason volleyball awards.

Sinclair's Jessica Thobe has been voted the OCCAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while Columbus State's Jaclynn Yocum was voted the OCCAC Coach of the Year.

"Our success has been a result of the caliber of girls we have in the program," Yocum said. "I don't have a girl on the team who is worried about personal statistics. They are all about the team. They work hard in the weight room and in the gym. We had some pretty tight games and they never lost their focus. I am extremely proud of them."

"It is a tremendous honor being named coach of the year," she also said. "I have outstanding assistant coaches and players who are mentally tough and don't leave anything on the floor. This award is a reflection of the success of the program and commitment of the girls."
