Sinclair Volleyball improves to 19-2 after win against Cedarville

Dayton, OH---Sinclair volleyball team (19-2, 5-1) defeated Cedarville University JV in three straight sets on Monday.  

This win comes after a very successful weekend up north where the ladies defeated Lakeland and Cuyahoga in three straight sets.

Against Cedarville, All-American and OCCAC Player of the Week, Jessica Thobe, recorded 12 kills and 11 digs.

Returner Tara Eades provided 19 assists during the match as well as 10 digs.  Carly Butler recorded 23 digs for the match.

In the match against Lakeland, Jessica Thobe recorded 13 kills and 10 digs. Carly Butler had 20 digs, and Tara Eades had 22 assists, 15 digs, and 5 aces.  Marie Rank recorded 7 kills, while Claire McGowan recorded 9 kills.

Against Cuyahoga, Jessica Thobe recorded 11 kills, while Carly Butler added 20 digs, and Tara Eades aided with 26 assists.

Sinclair looks to continue their 10 match win streak on Sept. 27 when they travel to Miami University-Middletown campus.

The ladies will return home for another conference match-up against Owens Community College on Oct. 2.  Game time is set for 6 p.m. and will take place in Building 8 at Sinclair Community College.
