Brady Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Columbus, OH---Paige Brady, a freshman middle blocker/outside hitter for Columbus State Community College, has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week.

The award is for the week ending Sept. 15.

It marks the second time a Columbus State player has won the award in the season's first three weeks. It is the first award for Paige.

Brady produced 33 kills, two assists, 29 digs and three blocks in three matches last week. The Cougars defeated Sinclair Community College in five sets, Owens Community College in three sets and Jackson College in three sets.

Overall this year, Brady is averaging 3.15 kills/set (.371 hitting percentage) and 3.48 digs per set.

Brady and her teammates are currently 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the OCCAC. They will host Edison Community College tomorrow at 6 p.m.
