Columbus, OH---Alysa Bergman, a sophomore libero for the Columbus State CC volleyball team, has been named OCCAC Player of the Week.

In four OCCAC matches last week, Bergman had two kills, six aces and 48 digs as her team went 4-0 in defeats of Lorain County CC, Cuyahoga CC, Lakeland CC and Edison CC.

Bergman joins teammates Jessie Lewis and Cierra Brady, who have previously won POW honors in the OCCAC this year.

The Cougars (25-6 overall, 10-1 OCCAC) will take on No. 17 Owens CC on Friday in Toledo, OH for the OCCAC championship. Should Bergman and the Cougars win, they will share the title with Owens.
