Lorain County's Trucco Named OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Elyria, OH---Teresa Trucco of Lorain County Community College has been named the OCCAC Volleyball Player of the Week.

In a five set victory over Lakeland Community College, she accumulated 20 kills, four solo blocks, one assisted blocks, seven digs and three service aces.

"Her play was the key to the win," said Lorain County's head women's volleyball coach Marc Pogachar.

Lorain County competes at the NJCAA D-III level. They are currently 19-10 overall this year. Trucco has accumulated 298 kills, 216 digs and 49 blocks this season.

Trucco is the fifth different player to win the award. The previous week's winners were Cierra Brady of Columbus State Community College (week 1), Lisa Urbanski of Owens Community College (week 2), Jessica Thobe of Sinclair Community College (week 3) and Jessie Lewis of Columbus State Community College (week 4).
