Schimming's 10 Digs, 4 Aces Help No. 7 Express Volleyball Sweep Cuyahoga

Cleveland, OH---The No. 7 Express women's volleyball team routed Cuyahoga Community College on the road Wednesday by a score of 25-2, 25-7, 25-8.

Dakia Sellers led the Express in kills with eight, while Alyssa Meis and Kenzie Kleinhenz each had seven. Molly Hilfinger had a team-high 16 assists, while Bailey Windham had 10.

Brandi Schimming led the Express in aces with four and digs with 10, while Meis and Lisa Urbanski each had five kills.

Overall, the Express had nine aces, three solo blocks and 10 assisted blocks.

The win improves the Express to 21-5 overall and 9-0 in the OCCAC. Their next action will be this weekend in the Vincennes Invitational. On Friday, the Express will take on Lansing Community College at 6 p.m. followed by an 8 p.m. matchup against Kellogg Community College.

Then, on Saturday, the Express will take on Vincennes University at 11 a.m. followed by a 3 p.m. matchup against Parkland College.
