Hilfinger, No. 5 Express Volleyball Rolls Through Lorain County

Toledo, OH---The Express volleyball team cruised through their OCCAC opener on Wednesday with a 25-15, 25-10, 25-11 straight set win over Lorain County Community College in the SHAC.

Prior to the match, the Express learned that they had risen to No. 5 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-II poll. They had opened the season at No. 15.

With the win, the Express improved to 11-3 overall (1-0 OCCAC). Next up is a road matchup on Friday against Edison Community College at 6 p.m. Then, they return home for an 11 a.m. matchup against Sinclair Community College on Saturday. Both are OCCAC matchups.
