Kirtland, OH---The Cincinnati State women's basketball team beat Lakeland Community College 98-50 on the opening game of Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play.
The Lady Surge were led by 6'4 center Samantha Paratore, who finished with a game high 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Desiree Ash finished with 15 points. Sophomore Kindsay Brandt and Cameron Vaughn each scored 14 points. Brandi Henschen came off the bench to score 12.
Cincinnati State, which improved to 15-3 overall, will return home on Wednesday to face Edison Community College at 5:30 pm.
