Cincinnati, OH---Cincinnati State beat Ivy Tech 80-78 in overtime on Tuesday night.

Down 2 points with 3.8 seconds remaining in regulation, Cincinnati State's Kindsay Brandt took two dribbles up court and lobbed a half court pass to Desiree Ash, who converted a fade away jumper as time expired to tie the game at 71. Brandt, who returned to the starting lineup after sitting out the last three games with an injury to her non-shooting hand, finished the game with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists.

"Kindsay and Desiree showed tremendous poise in that situation. Kindsay made a great pass with the clock running down and Desiree hit our most clutch shot all year," Head Coach Sonya Beeler said.

Ash led all scorers with 21 points. Alexus Chinn, a Princeton graduate, finished with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 5 steals. Cameron Vaughn recorded her eleventh double-double of the season with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

As a team, Cincinnati State out rebounded Ivy Tech 72-36.

Cincinnati State, which improved to 13-3 overall, will play Roane State on Wednesday beginning at 5:30 pm.
