Desiree Ash scores 32 points as Cincinnati State wins 108-12 over Olive-Harvey

South Holland, IL---Cincinnati State's Desiree Ash scored 32 points in Cincinnati State 108-12 road win over Olive-Harvey Community College (IL) on Friday night.

For Ash, a freshman from Hamilton High School, it was a personal best in scoring in her brief collegiate career thus far. Following Ash was sophomore Cameron Vaughn, who finished with 24 points and 16 rebounds. Kindsay Brandt recorded 16 points and 11 steals. Point guard Hannah Stephenson finished with 13 points and a season high 12 assists.

As a team, Cincinnati State shot 54% from the field and 81% from the line.

Improving to 8-1 on the season. the Surge will return to action tomorrow on the road against South Suburban College (IL) beginning at 1 pm CST.
