Cincinnati State women stay perfect with 64-55 win over Southeastern Illinois

Vincennes, IN---The Cincinnati State women's basketball team stayed undefeated after a 64-55 road win over Southeastern Illinois at the Vincennes University Invitational on Friday night.

The Lady Surge were led by freshman Alexus Chinn, who finished with 14 points. Hannah Stephenson scored 13 points . Cameron Vaughn recorded her sixth double-double in seven games with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Samantha Paratore finished with 11 points as the team claimed its fourth straight road victory.

Improving to 7-0 overall, the Lady Surge will play tournament host Vincennes University on Saturday at 1 pm. Saturday's game will be the second consecutive year an undefeated Cincinnati State team plays Vincennes. Last year, VU handed the Lady Surge their only loss of a regular season.
