Cincinnati State Improves To 5-0 With 66-45 Win Against Schoolcraft

Muskegon, MI---The Cincinnati State women's basketball team won 66-45 against Schoolcraft College (MI) in the opening round of the Delta Community College Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Cameron Vaughn, who has recorded a double-double in all five of Cincinnati State's games, led the Surge with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Desiree Ash provided a presence of the bench with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Grace McDougall added 10 points.

As a team, the Surge out rebounded Schoolcraft 53-40 and scored 26 points off 30 Ocelot turnovers.

Cincinnati State, which improved to 5-0, will return to action against Delta College (MI) at 1 pm Saturday in the final game of the Delta Invitational.
