The Cincinnati State women's basketball team won 57-53 on the road against Roane State on Tuesday night to stay unbeaten at 4-0 overall.

Sophomore Cameron Vaughn led the Surge with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Alexus Chinn finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds followed by Samantha Paratore, who recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds.

"We went into the locker room down at halftime. Our ladies came out and played a much more physical game in the second half to earn a win in a low scoring game where every possesion counted," Head Coach Sonya Beeler said.

Winning the first contest of a 12-game road trip, the Lady Surge will return to action against Schoolcraft College (MI) on Friday followed by Delta College on Saturday at this weekend's Muskegon Community College Invitational.
