Cincinnati State Men Fall 107-93 to Oakland

Peoria, IL---The Cincinnati State men's basketball team lost 107-93 to Oakland Community College (MI) in the opening game of the Illinois Central College Holiday Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Six Oakland players scored in double figures, led by guard Aaron Hayes, who scored a game high 32 points. For Cincinnati State, Devonte Smith finished with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Tom Jackson scored 23 followed by 15 points from Winston Grays.

As a team, Oakland shot 83% (25/30) from the line compared to Cincinnati State's 66% (24/36).

Falling to 11-3 on the season, Cincinnati State will conclude the tournament on Saturday against Madison Community College.
