University Center, MI---The Cincinnati State men's basketball team extended its winning streak to five games with a 93-50 road win against Delta College on Saturday.
The Surge were led by freshmen Devonte Smith, Winston Grays and O'Brien Hobbs. Smith converted 10 of 13 shot attempts, finishing with a game high 23 points and 9 rebounds. Winston Grays finished with 22 points and 5 steals. O'Brien Hobbs recorded 12 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.
"Our freshmen have been playing very well over these past five games," Head Coach Andre Tate said. "They have been shooting extremely well and make every possession count."
Improving to 8-2 overall, Cincinnati State will return home on Monday to face Cedarville University. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
