Cincinnati, OH---Cincinnati State freshman Winston Grays scored 23 points, leading the Surge to a 96-60 win over ABCD Academy.
Grays converted 10 of 14 field goals to lead all scorers on the night. Sophomore Tom Jackson scored 19 points to go along with 3 steals. Devonte Smith finished with 12 points, followed by Dwayne Bazemore, who had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Lionel Hill, who had 10.
As a team, Cincinnati State committed just 6 turnovers to ABCD's 26 and earned a 24-4 advantage from points scored off of turnovers.
Winning its third straight game and improving to 6-2, the Surge will have seventeen days before returning to action on the road at the Delta Community College Invitational in University Center, MI.
