Chad Roberts and Jake Mason have been voted this week's OCCAC player and pitcher of the week recipients, respectively, in baseball.

Roberts, a sophomore infielder from Sinclair Community College, hit .588 (10-for-17) with 10 runs, four doubles, two home runs, nine RBI, four walks and one stolen base. He also helped his team to four wins in conference play by hitting .538 (7-for-13) with eight runs, two doubles, two home runs, eight RBI and two walks over that stretch.

Roberts is hitting .371 with 30 runs, 33 hits, 10 doubles, nine home runs, 32 RBI, 17 walks and five stolen bases this year. He leads the team in doubles, home runs and RBIs.

Mason, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Sinclair Community College, tossed a complete game in his team's 11-2 win over Lakeland on April 2. He allowed just two hits, two runs (zero earned) and one walk while striking out six.

Mason is 4-0 this year with a 1.59 ERA and 28 strikeouts over 28.1 innings pitched.

Sinclair, who split a doubleheader against Vincennes University yesterday, is 28-3 overall. They will host conference foe Edison Community College this weekend.
