Erinn Bailey, as well as Bikramjit Gill and Winston Grays, have been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Players of the Week.

Bailey, a freshman guard from Dayton, Ohio, nearly led her team to a win over No. 16 Cincinnati State in her team's only game of the week.

She produced 23 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three assists in her team's 85-79 loss to Cincinnati State on the road. She finished 8-for-21 from the field and 7-for-12 from the foul line, while seven of her rebounds came on the offensive glass.

For the season, Bailey is averaging 12.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.1 assists per game for Columbus State, who will host No. 6 Owens Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m.

"Erinn works very hard to improve every aspect of her game and always puts us in position to win," said Columbus State women's basketball head coach Joel Renner.

Meanwhile, in one of the toughest votes of the year, Gill and Grays were named Co-Player of the Week in men's basketball.

Gill, a sophomore forward for No. 15 Owens Community College, led the Express to a come from behind 76-72 win over Lakeland Community College that helped his team to sole possession of first place early in the conference season.

Gill produced 16 points, 21 rebounds (11 offensive) and four blocks while finishing 7-for-15 from the field. His 21 rebounds tied the program's single-game record, while he had his second straight outstanding game - he was two blocks away from a triple-double in an upset of No. 6 Cincinnati State Technical and Community College the previous game.

It is his second straight player of the week honor and third overall this year. He is the only Owens player to capture OCCAC POW honors this year after being named POW on Dec. 8 and Jan. 19.

For the season, Gill is averaging 13.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. He is the team's second leading scorer, leading rebounder and leading blocked shot producer.

He has led his team to a 16-4 record overall and a 3-0 OCCAC mark. They will host Edison Community College tonight at 7:30 p.m.

"Bik is doing a great job of playing his game," said Owens men's basketball head coach Dave Clarke. "He's a very big guy, more athletic than people think. He's a good mid-major college basketball player."

Grays averaged 32 points per game over two big wins for No. 6 Cincinnati State last week. On Wednesday's 119-78 win over Columbus State, he had 24 points, six assists and three rebounds on 6-for-12 shooting overall and 4-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. Then, in a 109-72 win over Cuyahoga, he had 40 points, six assists and four rebounds on 13-for-21 shooting overall and 6-for-8 shooting from 3-point range.

Grays is averaging 21.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and three assists per game for the Surge, who will host Sinclair Community College tonight at 7:30 p.m. The Surge are 18-3 overall and 4-1 in OCCAC play.

The award is the second of the season for Grays, who also won POW honors on Nov. 10. He is the fourth Cincinnati State player to garner the honor this year.

Congratulations to all three players on their accomplishments!
