SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair Community College Athletics picked up two more Ohio Community College Athletic Conference regular season titles this Spring, winning both the baseball and softball conference crowns.
Tartan Pride Baseball was the first to clinch, pulling away from the field by a large margin and wrapping up the conference slate with a 27-1 record to capture the program’s third straight OCCAC regular season title and ninth in the last 11 seasons. Sinclair is ranked third nationally entering postseason play.

The softball squad remained within striking distance of Cuyahoga throughout the year and leapt ahead on the strength of a late season doubleheader sweep on April 27. Sinclair registered 5-2 and 5-2 win on the road versus the Triceratops to seize control of its own destiny. The program’s first OCCAC championship and first conference crown since 1991 (pre-OCCAC softball sponsorship) was secured in ‘no doubt’ fashion, blistering Owens by a combined score of 41-1 in the clinching twin bill sweep.
