Ryan Marchal (Clark Sate) and Keara Wilson (Bryant & Stratton) were the conference’s top basketball performers last week and have been tabbed as the OCCAC Players of the Week for March 1-7, 2021.
KEARA WILSON – women’s player of the week
Bryant & Stratton College (OH)
Wilson steered the Bobcat offense, resulting in 23 points and six assists during a 74-69 road league win at Hocking College. She converted on 7-of-14 field goal attempts and was especially accurate from long range -- nailing 4-of-5 three-pointers. Wilson also hauled in four rebounds during her 34 minutes of action.
RYAN MARCHAL – men’s player of the week
Clark State Community College
Marchal was spectacular last week for the Eagles, accumulating 57 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists, three steals and three blocks in 69 minutes played spanning two games. His offensive efficiency resulted in a 57% (21-37) shooting percentage which included sinking 7-of-12 (58%) from beyond the 3-point line. Marchal made his way to the charity stripe nine times as well, converting on eight free throws.
