Clark State Lays Claim to Weekly Basketball Honors Again

Ryan Marchal paired up with another member of the Clark State women’s basketball team this week to sweep the OCCAC Player of the Week awards for the second consecutive week. He was joined by Kelsey Boggs this time around.

Boggs put forth 32 points and 12 rebounds in a pair of league road games. She opened the week with 14 points at Hocking College before coming back with an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double at Bryant & Stratton. Boggs took care of the basketball as well, committing just two turnovers in 63 minutes played.

Marchal stayed in the flames another week, compiling 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. The sharpshooter drilled 60% (21-35) of his field goal attempts, including 50% (6-12) from beyond the arc. Marchal added seven points from the foul line.
